In keeping with the theme of the last post (“We’re listening”) Lunapanty thongs are back! A quick history: Madeleine created Lunapanty Thongs over 10 years ago, and we started selling them online 2 years ago when we introduced our best selling Lunapanties line of products. However, with cash flow being tight, we made the decision to discontinue our thong line last year to lower inventory levels. Since then, many of you have pleaded with us to bring them back. So here they are, but on a trial basis. Your feedback and demand will determine if we keep them, and what sizes and colors we will carry. As for myself, I was never much of a thong enthusiast. I wear them when the occassion works for me. While regular thongs have the upside of no pantylines under form-fitting garments, let’s face it - they can be seriously uncomfortable. Lunapanty thongs’ secret is that we add a Lunapads Liner (made with 2 layers of soft, breathable & absorbent 100% cotton fleece) to the gusset, thus giving them a pillow-like feel that is completely unlike any other thong you may have tried. They are super comfortable and can be worn every day, including during your period (well, ok, only on light days or with your DivaCup or sponge).
Lunapanty thong enthusists include gymnasts, yoga instructors, web designers (who also do a lot of yoga 
artists, photographers, nurses, doctors, lawyers, Lunapads employees and owners and most of their female friends and family members and… you?

Oh happy day! Thank you so much to all of you who have been pestering us to bring them back. Personally speaking I think that Lunapanties in general, but particulary Lunapanty thongs, are one of our best and most original products. Like Suzanne, while I appreciate the fashion value of thongs I have never been able to wear them every day. Functionally speaking, Lunapanty thongs beat the pants off (ha ha) any other thong I have ever tried, not to mention the torturous disposable thong panty liners (as if disposable pads aren’t bad enough!) The other thing that I love about them is that, like the DivaCup, they are extremely practical for women who want to be active physically during their cycles, not to mention those that still want to wear a favourite body-conscious outfit - who says we can’t party on our periods?

Just a quick note to say thanks for bringing back the lunapanty thongs. When I first ordered my lunapanties (love them, love them, love them), I was hoping to order a couple thongs too - but by then they were discontinued in my size. I was very disappointed.
With the holidays fast approaching, I don’t have the spare cash to order right now, but I can hardly wait to do so after Christmas - I hope they stick around for a while! (I too hate the disposable thong pantyliners.)

Hello, this isn’t a comment but a question… I read about your product in “Bitch” magazine and decided to check out your website. I might be interested in ordering but wanted to get more info. What is actually in the lunapad? (how is it made and how will it hold everything?) also, what are your prices and how do you clean them?

Will you be bringing the lunapanty thongs back? I love them and was hoping to purchase more. But I see they are no longer available.
