<description>I use my Diva cup for cycling because I wear cycling knicks. For those of you who cycle you will realise that underwear is not generally worn underneath these so pantylines are fairly obvious.

I do love my lunapds as well, but like to know I have a choice.

It has taken a few cycles to really get the hang of the Diva cup, but it has been worth it.

		<description>Thanks Emira
that sounds like a good solution - I think the deluxe lunapanties sound good because it seems from description you can wear them with and without a liner depending on flow. Thanks for ur reply,

<description>Hel, to answer your question about bulkiness and gym clothes I'll jump right into the nitty gritty here:

Really, it depends on your flow. If you're not too heavy during your gym days, I'd say that Lunapanties are a great option especially if you plan to change them after the gym or use something like the DivaCup or sea sponges as well. Alternatively using Deluxe Lunapanties which allow you to stick a liner or two in there (the winged ones are particularly good for this), will allow you to have a bit more coverage and you should then just be able to change the liner(s) after your gym visit.

I typically wear Lunapanties or Deluxe Lunapanties with a liner depending on where I'm at in my cycle when I'm working out. For me that workout takes the form of dance classes -- either ballet or flamenco -- and/or cycling. In the case of the former, I'm typically wearing very tight clothing and I don't have a problem with anything showing other than underwear lines.

<description>I currently use the Diva cup (I switched from the Keeper I'd had for years, and really like the update!) but just purchased the lunapanties. I'm so happy for these products - I am an environmental consultant and work long months on minesites and out in the bush, where having something that can wait to be changed at my hotel or camp is crucial.

Hopefully with the lunapanties, now I really won't have to worry about leaks; it's nice to be able to work and not even have to worry about my period.

<description>Just bought sea-pearls and luna pantyliners as back up, 2 weeks to period - for once I am looking forward to it!

Just wondering about bulkiness and sports clothing at the gym - I go about 3 times a week and my gym clothes are tight-fitting, won't lunapads show? Do lunapanties work well with gym clothes?

<description>Courtney: the DivaCup definitely holds up to very active lifestyles, I know lots of women who use it for just that purpose. I myself only use mine when I'm going to go in the water (swim, etc).

As for cycling and Lunapanties: Yes, yes, yes! I too agree. Being an avid cyclist I was always pretty ok with my lunapads while cycling (their smaller snaps seem to be better than those ones with the one big snap I totally agree!), but Lunapanties with a liner or two when necessary just can't be beat! Perfect for cycling.

<description>I'm glad you found something you like. I am a diva girl. I absolutely love my diva cup... however, I'm not as active as you. I'm not sure how it would hold up.

<description>i too am a huge fan of lunapanties, especially for bike riding. i was pretty much a "no bike-riding during my period" kinda gal before i discovered these beauties. and in the summer, that was a major loss indeed.

definitely one of the best inventions of the 20th century!
