As I’ve officially stepped up as the now newest member of our covey, I thought it time I peep up to introduce myself.
A mindful, observant and outrageously nerdy virgo; I was born an only child in Quebec, and raised in a rapidly sprawling bedroom community of southern Ontario. There, I spent my young days merrily climbing its garbage mountain, swimming its fake lakes, aimlessly wandering its strip mall parking lots, and creating my own fantastic dream world out of the so-called tedium that surrounded me.
Dire as this may seem, it nevertheless had its many quirks and charms. Not only did growing up in such an odd stratagem (the suburbs) so strongly inform my social and political views, but also my sense of humour, humanity, art, and irreverence.
My interests of late include outsider art, abandoned places, gardening, cuckoo clocks, lonely music, birds, figure drawing, folklore, clouds, sincerity, cleverness, and inspiring, motivating conversations amongst friends.
