Funny you mention it- my boyfriend commented today how I don't seem so crabby and sick, crampy and tired during my period anymore. I hadn't really thought about it before, but it's been months since I used a disposable pad or tampon, and he's right. My period isn't a big deal, it's not gross or impossible or awful... it simply is, just like everything else about me... and I love it. I still get cramps on my first day, but they're never anything a little peppermint and raspberry leaf tea can't help, and then they're done. Completely.
God and Goddess bless you, lunapads. I feel human again.

I too have notice almost the same thing when I switched. The biggest thing for me was the fact that I don't seem to bleed as much as I use to. Gets me thinking that maybe they add something to the disposables so that you have to buy more of them.

My Doctor was about to give me a medicated cream for that time of the month to help relieve some of the pain due to the disposables. Thank God I found Lunapads! I can't wait to tell her about them at my next visit!

You are on to something Michelle - there are a plethora of women who tell us their cramps and other period issues disappear or at least lessen when they switch to Lunapads or the DivaCup. I agree that maybe our bodies are just more relaxed, not feeling invaded...and so they respond positively. What can we do? Tell our friends, our sisters, our nieces, aunties...any woman we know. We'll start a revolution!

Wow! Now that's a testimonial. Wish the cramping bit were the same for me, but alas, it's not. Maybe what I really need to do is live on a farm... :D

This is such a touching testimony, and I'm more excited than ever to try Lunapads. I'm eagerly awaiting my shipment to arrive at my home. Thank you, Michelle, for such an in-depth account of your personal experience with Lunapads. I was so touched that my eyes actually began to well at one point. If your story can move me so, I'm eager to see what Lunapads has in store for me. Thanks for sharing!
