<description>I love hearing about another woman discovering the wonderful world of reusable menstrual products.

I developed sensitivity to the chemicals that are in disposable pads. I was absolutely miserable every month because of it, but I didn't know I had any other options. Finally out of desperation I began using wash cloths, but have since switched to actual cloth pads. I have now been happily and comfortably using cloth for the past 12 years (I've just recently ordered a menstrual cup and am looking forward to trying it for the first time this month), and my daughter has been fortunate enough to start out with cloth. (she didn't even know about disposables at first and thought the whole idea of using that instead of nice soft cloth very strange. :-)
