I wish that I had Lunapads as soon as I started my period. I was given a ton of icky disposables and told how to wrap them up in toilet paper. Gross! I told my Mom when I started using Lunapads a year ago and her initial reaction was "Gross!" just like mine about disposables. Now that I've talked to her more about it I think she's somewhat embraced the concept a little more. If I'm ever blessed with having a daughter, I'm going to teach her all the nasty truths about disposable pads & tampons and get her adorable, comfy Lunapads. :) I read this blog from a link on the Facebook group and I just loved reading it!

My mom just handed me a box of tampons and said 'congratulations' but it didn't feel like something to be excited about. I love that gals like KT are already able to say they feel good about their periods, for most of us it has taken much longer to embrace. Totally!
